As we are coming to the end of May, I thought I would share some of my favourite things that I have used for the month. It has been a busy month for me. I finished my beauty therapy course and I only have a few weeks left on my massage course.
First thing I have used a lot this month was the L’Occitane Pivoine Flora beauty milk. After showering I used this as it really softened my skin and had a beautiful flora scent.
The Lancome cleansing fluid came from the Lancome Christmas box I was given. I wasn’t quite sure how to use it but after some research on the internet, I found it was for removing make up and impurities on the skin. It’s a make up remover so it does the job! After using this I applied Super Facialist Tea Flower by Una Brennen. A good product which doesn’t strap the natural oils. Lancome eye make up remover which I used remove mascara. It should only be used on the eyes or if you use waterproof make up as it is quite very oily.
Simple rapid action spot zipper. I have had a break out of spots and blemishes and have found out this budget spot zipper does the job really well. Die, spots die!!!!
L’Occitane Amande shower oil. I was given this sample when I purchased a few things from L’Occitane in Covent Garden. After showering and drying myself, I put this on. It was so soft when I applied it. A beautiful sweet almond smell and I should buy myself the bigger bottle.
I don’t use much Avon products that much but I did try the Planet Spa dead sea mineral exfoliating body scrub and Foot Works scrub. Very gentle on the skin and didn’t dry out the skin.
Urban Decay eye potion. This really is the best on the market as it keeps eye shadows crease free. If anyone knows of something better, please let me know.
Lancome Hypnose Star and Drama Mascaras. They do exactly what they say. Great mascaras for the money.
Clinque long last glosswear. The colour is Cabana Crush. It really lasts a long time and is quite sticky. The colour is a bright pink with some sparkle in it.
Nivea pure & natual blushes Desert Rose and Desert Sand. Both are a matt finish and both suitable for sensitive skin. Nice pigmentation and last all day. Good everyday blushes.
I have quite a few brushes but I didn’t use them until I saw Lisa Eldridge video blog on foundations and how to apply them on the skin properly. I now use a MAC 190 brush to apply the foundation and will not use anything else.
My Body Shop Blush brush is so soft to use I use it all the time. Worth every penny.
