September Favorites.

Hi Everybody,

I know it’s a bit late but here are some of my favourite things I used in September.

Sen Mood Freshener Shower Gel & Body Scrub.

I mentioned these in a previous post when I bought these in TJ Hughes. The shower gel has a nice thick consistency, not at all runny. A pleasant smells but not sweet at all. The Scrub is very creamy and leaves the skin soft. A nice product.

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Mask

This is the my second tub of this product. It really moisturises and helps repair damaged hair. My hair is so soft and the smell is amazing. A great value product.

Dove Nourishing Oil Care leave-in conditioning & care hair spray

I usually spray this onto my hair before I dry it and it helps untangle my hair. A great value product that I have been very happy to use.

Schwarzkopf got2b Guardian Angel Heat Protector

My second bottle and it does everything it says as it helps protects styling. Schwarzkopf always do a great job with their products for those on a budget.

The famous product beloved by bloggers, make-up artists all around the world. It’s a cleanser and make-up remover. Nothing to say except it is utterly brilliant and worthy of all the praise it gets. Hard to find in the UK but bought when I was in Latvia!

Weleda Refining Toner

This toner is great for all skin types. It has natural oils with no alcohol in it, which can damage the skin. This is well worth the price and is a great cleanser.

REN Vito-Mineral Day Cream

Only a sample size but very nice to use and hydrates the skin well.

Lancome Genifique Eye Cream

I have a sample to use up and I thought I better use it. It has a creamy texture and quickly absorbs in the skin. Smells to me of Champagne!

L’Oreal Skin Perfection Cleansing Oil

Before I used make up remover wipes but now I changed to oil. It dissolves make up better than wipes. I only use a small amount and massage it into dry skin. A really great product.

Elizabeth Arden Day & Night Eye Pallets

Two wonderful eye pallets which I have used almost every day.  Lovely shimmer and matt colours to them and blend beautifully with no chalky residue. Pigmentation is excellent and I have been very impressed by them. I haven’t used much Elizabeth Arden products before but I will look at them more often.

No 7 limited Edition Ballerina Beauty Blush

I used this on my friend when I did the make up for her wedding last month. A lovely rosy colour to the cheeks when applied.

Mohito Chic

I bought this when I was in Latvia. Mohito is a Polish clothing chain. It doesn’t have any stores in the UK at present. A pleasant citrus scent with a hint of bitterness and has warmth to it. It stays on the skin for a long time and is a great everyday perfume. Nice bottle as well!

Yankee Candle Spiced Orange

I do love candles and I remember as a child we always burnt candles at home. Since then I have always liked having candles around. Walking past Clinton Cards I noticed a 25% off Yankee Candles offer. I choose Spiced Orange and it is a gorgeous smell, full of oranges, cloves and cinnamon. Utterly wonderful and reminds me of Christmas. It also lasts a long time and I will buy more of them.

Nail Course and TK Maxx bargain!

Hi Everybody,

Just come back from Brighton after doing a Shellac Nail Polish Art course today. I am now looking forward to using shellac products and practicing on volunteers J. Below are my pictures from my course today.

Before that I had enough time to pop into Brighton and look around the place. As we arrived early, most shops were still closed as most now open at 11-00! Anyway, I quickly made a trip to TK Maxx to see what new stock they had. I never have much luck with the clothes or the shoes (either too big or too small even when the label states it’s my size!) so I often have a look at the beauty products. Today as the weather was awful and it was quiet, you could have a look around without been barged out the way by women dragging the baskets!

My eyes light up when I noticed a rather nice package tucked at the back of a display unit. It was a Bellapierre mineral shimmer 9-stack kit. They are a well respected company and are not available from your usual Boots, Debenhams but from House of Fraser or online. The normal RRP is £80.00 but thanks to TK Maxx only £19.99!

The set is made up of 9 mineral shimmer stocks made up of good everyday colours including blue, green, purple, and pink. The great thing about minerals is that you can use them not just as eye shadows or cream eye shadows but as eye liners, lip glosses and even nail polish! The kit also came with a makeup base, a lip gloss and 2 brushes.

I put a touch on my hand and it looked impressive with a really nice colour and a lovely shimmer. I can’t wait to try it and let you know…
