Coco Mademoiselle was created in 2001 by Jacques Polge, the recently retired Head of Chanel Perfumer at Les Parfums Chanel. It is marketed to women in their 20s and 30s, leaving Chance to the younger fans, and No. 5 to the more mature lover of perfume.
The packaging is beautiful as you would expect from Chanel , an etched glass top with a white band with the interlinking CC logo is beautiful and classy. The bottle is a wonderful, simple square shape.
The fragrance’s top notes of orange, bergamot and mandarin; middle notes of jasmine and rose petals.; and a base of patchouli, vetiver, vanilla, tonka bean and white musk.
It is a beautiful floral fresh fragrance with a hint of coolness. It is a fantastic summer scent as the citric notes really do bring out the freshness to this perfume. To me this fragrance was love at first smell and I will never be without with it in my collection. This perfume makes you feel special, sophisticated and sexy, and I don’t think Mademoiselle Chanel would have been disappointed by that!
