Roger & Gallet have made beautiful products since 1862 but they also make beautiful perfumes. When you go to Paris, all the pharmacies stock Roger & Gallet. Although not available in Boots, you can buy their products in M&S and John Lewis and certain online retailers.
Fleur de Figuier was launched in 2015 and is a more intense, concentrated version of Fleur de Figuier EDT. The perfume bottle designed by Martin Szekely is a faceted rectangle shape with his signature at the bottom of the bottle. It is a simple but classy design. The best part is the scent. A heady, intoxicating sweet, fruity scent. Fig, of course, is the main ingredient at the beginning but wood, patchouli and musk come to the fore after the dry down. This is a warm fragrance so I will be wearing this over the autumn and the winter. I’m not a fig fragrance lover ( but I do love fresh figs!) but this is a perfect blend of figs and woodiness in a perfume. I love the design and the colour purple so this is a perfect perfume for me!
