Hi everybody,
Happy International Women’s Day!
Spring is almost here! Snowdrops, Daffodils are blooming but the coldness is still with us, fighting with the spring!
Smith & Cult was created by beauty veteran Dineh Mohajer, who created Hard Candy, and after several collaborations, formed Smith & Cult.
This range of nail polishes are available from SpaceNK and this is where I purchased in the New Year sale. The colour is called ‘City of Compton’ and is a nice, bright bubble gum pink. The bottle has a heavy, luxury feel to it. It looks great compared to other standard nail bottles. All very nice but the most important thing is the formula and how it applies.
The formula is quite watery and you do need 2 coats to get a good finish. I did find the brush is too short for painting nails and it is awkward to use as it is quite a big bottle in the first place. If the bottle was smaller it would have been fine. It stayed on the nails as well as other standard nail polishes. Like always, I did use a base coat and top coat.
Is it worth £19.00? No it isn’t but luckily I paid £9.00 in the SpaceNK sale. I don’t think I will buy all the colours but it was good to try one from this range and such a pretty colour to use as I do love pink!
