Hi Everybody
Halfway through the year, where has the year gone?
There is so many interesting products out there I want to try but just don’t get the chance to buy all of it! Here are some of things I have been using.
SKINCARE & BODY
Nivea Anti-Perspirant Invisible – This is the first time I have used a spray anti-perspirant as I normally use a roll-on. As it is summer and of course you sweat more than usually and you want to keep odours at bay and feel fresh. I haven’t used Nivea before and It has a nice smell and I have felt no irritation in my armpits after using it!
Pixi Glow Tonic – I wasn’t sure about this about this toner to see how my skin reacted to having a exfolitator on my skin in a liquid form. People had raved about this exfolitating tonic which would brighten, smooth and even your skin. I have to say that after using it my skin felt different, it looked bright and I also had less bumps on it. I will need to purchase a full-size bottle now.
Eucerin Face Sun Creme SPF 30 – This really does absorb into the skin quickly with no greasiness or odour and no white chalky residue. My make-up looked good as well. A great buy.
Neal’s Yard Power Berry Daily Moisture – This is the first time I have tried this product. A light, watery, almost like a lotion. Not heavy at all and it absorbs so easily into the skin with a lovely aroma of berries. My skin loved this,it looked so bright! Neal’s Yard just don’t make bad products.
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial – This has been a popular product and I can see why. I used this every night and it is so light and it really helped my skin. I had a few breakouts and it helped the recovery of my skin from them. It didn’t feel greasy and absorbed easily into my skin. What a product, expensive it may be it’s but worth every penny in my view.
MAKE-UP
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation – Liz Eldridge has always spoken highly of this foundation and I had to try some. I choose Light Vanilla and it gave me a nice glow to my skin. I don’t like matt foundations as I like my skin to glow and this product is as good as No 7’s Stay Perfect or Instant Radiance in ‘Calico’ which I use so much. This Bourjois foundation is a really great budget option.
Bourjois Colour Band Eyeshadow & Liner Pencil in ‘Mauve Baroque’– A Lilac colour which when applied does not smudge. When I blend it in it sets quickly, a great hand bag product. If you have limited time to get a great make-up look, use this and mascara to get a great look!
Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara -You need to build up your lashes with this mascara to get a volume look and it needs more than 1 second to do it! The brush is quite chunky so you can build up a nice look when you allow it to dry between each coat.
Chanel Coco Rouge LipStick – A New range of lipsticks named after important friends to Gabrielle. There are 24 in total and I have tried 5 of them. Coco, Arthur, Emilienne, Adrienne and Roussy. These are hydrating lipsticks and the colours are fantastic and stay on the lips so long and my lips feel so hydrated. As you expect from Chanel the quality is fantastic and luxurious.
Happy Holidays!
